Pitts Modern School, Gomia witnessed an energetic and inspiring culmination on the final day of its 47th Annual Athletic Meet, marked by discipline, enthusiasm, and true sporting spirit. The day commenced on a dignified note with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Mr. Arindam Dasgupta, Vice-Chairman of the Gomia School Society, who was accorded a warm welcome. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Mr. Abhishek Biswas, MCM of IEPL (ORICA), Gomia, and Mr. Prabhas Jha, Member of the Governing Body, adding prestige to the grand event. This was followed by the bouquet presentation to the dignitaries, setting a gracious tone for the celebrations. The ceremonial proceedings continued with the hoisting of the school flag, symbolizing unity and pride, followed by the inspection of the parade.

The Inter-School Kho-Kho Open School Competition 2026

The Inter-School Kho-Kho Open School Competition 2026, conducted under the aegis of the Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex, Bokaro, was successfully held at Pitts Modern School, Gomia. A total of 11 schools participated in the championship, with 11 boys’ teams and 10 girls’ teams with more than 260 students competing enthusiastically. The matches were conducted smoothly under the guidance of dedicated officials.
